Okay, here comes the 2am madness rant.
Dear StarKid fans,
this is a post about respect. You want the StarKids to appreciate their fans and to stay as connected as they are right now. Well, we have to respect them if we don’t want this relation between Team StarKid and their fans to change. We have to treat them with dignity and respect.
Team StarKid is a group of theatre weirdos. They are just like us. Human beings, nerds, lovable friends and - as we all know - totally awesome.
And now imagine what it must be like to be one of them. They literally fell into a pool of awesome sauce. What they have is something special and unique. But they never had the chance to prepare themselves for that. They have to deal with the fame and they are doing great. Private things stay private unless they want to share them (like AJ and Ali), no talking about any relationships or who used to date. Just friendship. And they are probably the most amazing friendship unit the world has ever seen. We should respect their wishes. I know, we all have those days when we just want to know but we also know that they don’t want us to know - so this needs to be fine.
Also, talking like really inappropriate things about them is just wrong. Especially when its in public. Today I found the rudest post ever on tumblr and I am just disgusted. If I were one of them, I’d never want to find these things. I would be disgusted and I wouldn’t want to be connected to the fandom anymore. This is just wrong, disrespectful and inappropriate.
Be nice if you want the StarKids to be nice to us.
I know that one day I’ll meet them and it’s gonna be totally awesome. I can literally smell all the glitter farts. Mine and theirs.
