I thought people in the StarKid fandom are accepting people. I thought we were a unity of people who share their love for this one group of people who’ve changed our life.
I thought StarKid was about accepting your true self, accepting others, and being a family. I thought we all admired them. I thought we all saw their talents and how beautiful they are - inside and outside. I thought we’d always be there to support them, to cheer for them, to laugh with them, to find friends, to enjoy ourselves in this fandom.
I’ve made the best of friends in this fandom, I’ve found soul mates, I’ve had the most of fun on the StarKid page, at twitter spams, on tumblr. I’ve become part of something that I am proud of. I’ve become a StarKid, a Glow* Girl, a friend.
I thought this is how it works for all their fans. Apparently, I was wrong. People bash each other, people say mean things about the people we should admire, people complain, people say inappropriate things that I don’t even want any of the StarKids ever to see. And then people freakin hide behind the anonymity that is the Internet. The StarKids share so much with us. We should be thankful and thank them with respect and love.
Show some respect. Show that you are a StarKid. Share your love. Not hate.
Be a StarKid.
play nice this time, okay?
I solemnly swear
- that I will be happy for everyone who has the chance to go to the Apocalyptour
- that I won’t yell at people who get VIP tickets while I don’t (it’s only a chance of luck and not anyone’s fault)
- that I won’t say mean things to the StarKids because the tickets sell out within seconds
- that I will not ask questions over and over again that have already been answered
- that I will not complain because they are not going directly to my city
- that I will not complain about the weekday and how the StarKids can’t change that
- that I will not spoil the tour for others who get to on a later date
- that I will not push people into fences just to see how sexy Joe Walker is
- that I will make the best of friends
- that I will sing as loud as I can
- that I will not kill for an autograph
- that I will truly enjoy a StarKid hug if I am lucky enough to get one
- that I will be a true and nice StarKid as a part of a family that is bigger than all of us
These make me happy
Anastasia: I feel a little… dizzy.
Dimitri: Kind of… light-headed?
Anastasia: Yeah…
Dimitri: Me too. Probably from all this spinning. Maybe we should stop.
Anastasia: We have stopped.
Kiss.
What does that remind me of…….Oh, I know.
